Day one: settle into Almada
Spend the first day close to your base. Wander Almada’s older streets, pause at a neighbourhood café, and walk the riverfront towards Cacilhas as the evening light arrives.

Day two: a full day in Lisbon
Cross early by ferry and let Lisbon have the whole day. Pick a couple of districts, build in a long lunch, and return to the south bank whenever you are ready — there is no need to race the last view.

Day three: the Atlantic at Costa da Caparica
Head west to Costa da Caparica for broad beaches, sea air and, depending on conditions, surf or kitesurf watching. Check the forecast and current bus information before setting out, and stay for the late light over the ocean.

Leave space for a favourite
The extra time is the point. Use a spare morning or evening to go back to the place you liked most, whether that is a café, a viewpoint or a stretch of sand.
